Gear and Boats. We only use gear and baits that work and most of the time it is natural baits like anchovies or herring. Although during winter fishery we use what you can call a hootchy. Rods are ultra light and fished off electric down riggers with or without flashers. Most reel used by guides are single action where the fish actively fight.
– Note: blistered palms are just part of the fun All boats are clean, comfortable, Coast Guard inspected and insured. Boats range in size from 17 feet to over 30 feet. Most boats have a heads (toilet). Some boats offer heated cabins for the winter angler, snacks on request. Fly fishing for bass or salmon can be arranged. No fly by night guides, all guides have at least twenty years. Client satisfaction is the name of our game. We like to form a working relationship with our clients. Just you and your partners with one guide – No mixing of clients. All gear and bait is supplied. Coffee or tea will be supplied upon request. If you have any kind of needs, just ask.
Fish are cleaned and bagged.
